STAKEHOLDERS MEET – MAY 2017
The Vyas Cancer Research Park (“VCR Park”) is being developed as “Asia’s first cancer focused Bio-cluster”. The first stakeholders meeting was conducted on 20th of May 2017 in Hyderabad, India. The meeting brought together executive leadership from several organizations across the cancer care continuum, including cancer hospitals, universities, pharma, startups, academic research institutions, information technology, healthcare investment, and high-level government officials from the state of Andhra Pradesh. The objective of the meeting was to review the progress of the VCR Park project, discuss addressable gaps across different disciplines for efficient translation of discoveries, and provide a platform for designing new collaborative initiatives.

Good to know that the enthusiasm seen 1.5 years ago is still unabated. The discussion sessions were useful for people to realize the synergies in the group. But concreate proposals will take more effort.
